Your new role:
As a Senior Pharmacy Technician within Cancer Services Pharmacy, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of cancer pharmacy and sterile production services. Working closely with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide technical supervision, coordinate daily operations and contribute to continuous service improvement within the Cancer Pharmacy and Sterile Production Centre. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support pharmacy technicians and assistants through training, mentoring and competency assessment
- Apply advanced technical skills in sterile and cytotoxic compounding, dispensing and medicines distribution
- Monitor quality standards, product validation and workplace safety practices
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support patient-centred cancer care

You are an experienced and motivated pharmacy technician with strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to patient safety, quality and teamwork. You thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and are confident supporting both operational and technical pharmacy services. You Will Demonstrate:
- Strong leadership, communication and team collaboration skills
- Advanced technical knowledge in cancer pharmacy and sterile compounding services

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.

The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
