Who We Are:
Welcome to Dysart State School, situated in the coal fields of the Central Highlands. Our Western location in the Queensland tropics is a wonderful blend of country life with regional support services.
Our community partnerships with the Isaac Council, BHP Billiton and Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) mining company provide additional learning opportunities for our students and staff.
Our staff have a great sense of adventure and team spirit and enjoy living and teaching in a rural setting, supporting our students to be 'Dysart Dynamos' - safe, friendly, learners - across our school environment.
Step Into Your Next Chapter:
Local management of teacher housing is conducted through a Local Accommodation Committee (LAC), chaired by the Principal, Local Accommodation Officer (LAO).
LACAA supports the LAO in managing teacher housing in the local area. The focus is on providing quality housing to teachers to support their choice to work in rural and remote Queensland.
Experience with RTA, rentals or property management would be an advantage, but is not essential.
