Senior Project Officer - Planning

We are on the lookout for an inspired, driven Senior Project Officer - Planning with demonstrated experience in strategic/conservation planning and protected area management. This position will contribute to the development and delivery of the planning program within South East Queensland Region.
Join our dedicated Ranger staff and make a meaningful impact by contributing to the long-term sustainability and conservation of the protected area natural and cultural values. In this role you will help guide the region in implementing the department’s Values-based Management Framework (VBMF) across South East Queensland Region. As the Senior Project Officer - Planning, you will have the chance to work in a stunning and inspiring environment while actively participating in efforts to safeguard the beauty and heritage of this unique region with our First Nation partners.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about conservation, land management and working collaboratively. Your technical expertise, learning agility, and collaborative leadership, will ensure planning remains a dynamic process that drives continual improvement and conservation success.
To be successful in the role, you will also have:
· Experience in protected area management and strategic planning.
· Demonstrated cultural capability.
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft suite.
· GIS skills would be highly regarded.
