Located in Rockhampton in Central Queensland, North Rockhampton State High School serves a large regional community and forms part of a strong network of local schools and industry partners.
About the Role:
As the Head of Department - Mathematics, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school department in developing and committing to a shared educational vision focused on achieving high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Promote socially just practices and uphold high standards for both student achievement and staff performance.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with students, parents, government agencies, and community groups to support learning and wellbeing.
- Demonstrate strategic, future-focused leadership, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies affecting students and staff.
- Effectively manage human, financial, facility, and curriculum resources while engaging in ongoing professional learning to achieve departmental goals.
