The Digital Customer (Smart Service Queensland) team within the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) provides digitally enabled whole-of-government services to the Queensland public through multiple channels including phone, chat, counter and online. This stream brings together technology, development, products, design, engagement, and operations to deliver simpler connected services.

As the ICT Service Centre Officer you will:
• Provide first and second level service desk ICT support to end users, including resolving high volume general incidents and service requests.
• Undertake the initial incident diagnosis in order to either resolve the incident, to redirect incidents to management or to the appropriate technical support teams.
• Provide on-site technical support at SSQ's Brisbane CBD, Zillmere (DCC) and Mt Gravatt sites, as well as any new sites that may be established.
• Provide timely support to clients by conducting thorough investigations and diagnosis of incidents, analysing recurring incidents and informing management for resolution.
• Contribute to the development and communication of standard operating procedures and work instructions including continuous service delivery improvements for clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to, supporting and participating in Disaster and Virtual Response teams and the Business Continuity Management Team when required, for SSQ, to maintain operational requirements and continuous service delivery.
• Maintain quality business relationships with clients, co-location business partners, other SSQ business areas, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety awareness to maintain a safe and operationally effective work environment.
• Periodic 24 x 7 on call availability is a requirement of this position.
