About the role
Deliver carpentry and cabinetmaking services within a hospital environment, supporting the maintenance, repair, and installation of building infrastructure across the RBWH precinct. Contribute to a high-performing building and engineering service that supports safe and effective healthcare delivery.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply trade skills to install, maintain, and repair carpentry and cabinetry infrastructure within a complex healthcare environment
- Work independently and collaboratively to support day-to-day operations and assist other trade staff as required
- Provide technical advice and ensure works meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Engage effectively with hospital staff and stakeholders to minimise disruption to services
- Demonstrate commitment to safety, training, and adherence to organisational policies and procedures
