About the Engagement Team:

The Engagement team within Student Support branch delivers a range of policy, programs and statewide initiatives to address student disengagement and support student connection and belonging.

About the Role:

This position, currently available to 1 July 2027, will undertake exciting program implementation work, focused on the next phase of selected student engagement initiatives.

The role will play key program management for the Specialised Alternative Learning Program.

The program is one initiative shaping contemporary, evidence informed approaches that are practical, scalable and sustainable within complex education environments.

Responsibilities Include:

The role may also contribute expertise to broader priorities, including:

  • Supporting the delivery of program evaluations and continuous improvement activities.
  • Oversight and contribution to monitoring, data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Preparing and contributing to high quality cabinet, ministerial and executive materials.
  • Providing strategic advice and responding flexibly to emerging priorities across education case management and student engagement.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong judgement, the ability to work with autonomy, and a collaborative approach to influencing outcomes.
