About the role
Undertake advanced training in interventional cardiology within a specialist cardiac service, developing expertise in catheterisation procedures, inpatient and outpatient care, and complex coronary interventions. Contribute to high-quality clinical and research outcomes while supporting cardiology service delivery.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high-quality clinical care under supervision, including assessment, planning, and management of cardiology patients
- Participate in catheterisation laboratory procedures and contribute to interventional cardiology services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to support effective care delivery
- Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and research activities within the cardiology program
- Maintain professional standards and support safe, efficient service delivery, including on-call and weekend work as required
