Mango Hill State Secondary College are seeking a Cleaner to join the team!

3 x 38hr per week split shift 5am-9am and 2-6pm Monday to Friday/Thursday PM shift 1pm-5pm.

Positions are temporary backfill with possible extension and some potential for permanency.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Who We Are:

Mango Hill State Secondary College opened in 2020 and caters to over 1000 students in Yrs 7-12.

The College is a future-focused learning community, committed to developing the potentialand curiosity of each student in an innovative, supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain high cleaning standards across classrooms and college facilities to support student learning and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a proactive team of 12 cleaners.
  • Clean and sanitise classrooms, toilets, sick bays, windows, furniture, fittings and shared spaces.
  • Perform floor care including vacuuming, sweeping, buffing, stripping and polishing.
  • Manage rubbish removal, litter control, graffiti removal, cobweb and mildew control.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and complete duties in line with the school cleaning program.
