Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide advanced clinical services within Bayside Adult Community Mental Health, delivering high-quality care and supporting improved outcomes for consumers.
- Deliver advanced Occupational Therapy and case management services including assessment, intervention, evaluation and recovery-focused care within a multidisciplinary mental health team.
- Provide clinical leadership through supervision, education and support to junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants while acting as a key clinical resource within the team.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice to enhance mental health service delivery and consumer outcomes.
About you:
You are a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist who thrives in a complex mental health environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented care.
- Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy services within mental health settings, including complex assessment, intervention and case management.
- Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage positively with consumers and carers.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and apply sound clinical judgement in complex and dynamic environments.
