Corporate Services Division provides business, corporate and operational services to the Department of Health and, in certain circumstances, to the broader Queensland public health system (Queensland Health, comprising the department and 16 hospital and health services). The division is responsible for leading the department’s budget, financial reporting processes, human resource services, knowledge management, legal services, business enhancement and facilities management activities.

About the role:
The Principal Advisor, Asset Information Management in the is located within the Asset Management Unit, Governance, Assurance and Information Management branch and provides specialist advice, analysis and support to Hospital and Health Services and Department of Health divisions to strengthen asset maintenance and management capability.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Provide expert professional advice and manage complex tasks associated with S/4HANA EAM, with a strong focus on:
- • master data structures and relationships (functional locations, equipment records, and financial assets)
• maintenance planning and task lists
• maintenance works management within S/4HANA
• data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Design, develop and maintain data load solutions to support bulk creation of asset maintenance data in S/4HANA EAM, leveraging advanced data transformation skills to ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with defined data standards.
- Undertake testing, validation and assurance of new and modified S/4HANA EAM configuration changes delivered through requests for change (RFCs) via the Department's Corporate Technology Services area, ensuring Queensland Health legislative, business and reporting requirements are met.
- Support and contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and guidelines relating to asset maintenance and management of Queensland Health's building infrastructure, plant and equipment, aligned with best practice asset management principles and emerging technologies.
Role fit:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting S/4HANA or similar ERP systems, particularly across asset and maintenance management. You excel at planning and delivering asset management initiatives in fast‑moving environments, using your analytical and problem‑solving strengths to work with stakeholders and resolve complex asset and data issues. Your communication, consultation and negotiation skills enable you to build effective relationships and consistently deliver customer‑focused outcomes across large, diverse organisations.
