About the Role
Lead inclusive education as Head of Special Education Services (HOSES) at H01 level in a permanent leadership role focused on improving outcomes for students with disability.
- Provide strategic leadership of the Special Education Program, supporting staff with expert advice on inclusive practices, reasonable adjustments, and effective intervention strategies.
- Oversee targeted teaching and case management for students requiring additional support, working closely with staff, families, and external services.
- Lead implementation of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) to ensure accurate reporting and consistent school-wide practice.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and community agencies to strengthen student support and engagement.
- Contribute to whole-school leadership, decision-making, and professional learning, while managing allocated resources to support effective program delivery.
