Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Practice Development Unit as a Clinical Facilitator – Advanced Life Support Resuscitation, supporting education, clinical leadership and resuscitation training across the Division of Medicine and Division of Surgery. Drawing on advanced clinical expertise, you will play a key role in promoting evidence-based practice and delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
Coordinate and deliver Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), resuscitation and clinical skills education programs across a range of clinical areas.
Provide expert clinical leadership, support and guidance to nursing staff through education, mentoring, coaching and simulation-based learning activities.
Contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of education services, orientation programs, mandatory training and clinical competency assessments.
About you:
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative nursing professional with strong clinical leadership skills and a commitment to education, quality improvement and patient-centred care. You will thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment and demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with advanced clinical knowledge and experience in resuscitation and acute care practice.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and coordinate clinical education, including teaching, mentoring, simulation-based learning and competency assessment.
Strong communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead change, support staff development and foster a positive learning culture.
Experience applying evidence-based practice, quality improvement principles and contemporary healthcare technologies, including EMR and learning management systems.
