Your new role:
As an Enrolled Nurse within the QEII Transit Lounge, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred care to patients transitioning through the hospital. You will support patient flow, discharge planning and interim admissions while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care.
- Support patient flow, discharge planning and interim admissions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and EMR records.
- Collaborate effectively with RNs and multidisciplinary teams.
About you:
You are a compassionate and adaptable Enrolled Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to quality patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Skills & Experience
- Current NMBA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with medication endorsement.
- Ability to deliver person-centred care within scope of practice.
- Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality improvement and professional development.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
