The Registry Officer (Corporate Services) is an integral part of the Corporate and Information Services team which is responsible for supporting the delivery of quality corporate services, including finance and procurement, Court and Commission travel requirements, asset and building management, provision of corporate and information services information to internal and external stakeholders, and general business administration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to management in undertaking corporate duties including asset management, finance (accounts payable), procurement and general business administration.
  • Coordinate the issuing and publishing of judgements, decisions and orders of the Court, Commission and Industrial Registrar and updating matter files as required.
  • Assist in the provision of information including assisting in updating internet and intranet websites.
  • Administer the Court and Commission's travel requirements for circuit listings.
  • Manage building maintenance issues for the tenancy and assist with asset audits and management.
  • Administration of incoming and outgoing correspondence relating to corporate services matters, as well as responding to enquiries and website feedback.
  • Compile and distribute media reports.
  • Coordinate the delivery of court related services that support the operational and administrative needs of the Court, Commission, and related stakeholders.
  • Compliance with legislative and procedural obligations while ensuring the delivery of quality service and the provision of accurate information to all stakeholders.
  • High quality informed administrative decision-making in line with statutory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships while working in a small team.
  • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders, including Members of the Court and Commission, the legal profession, union representatives, government agencies, self-represented litigants, and the public.
  • Assist in the review of services, processes and procedures and contribute to the development and implementation of improvements to service delivery.
  • Assist the Industrial Registrar, Deputy Industrial Registrar and Senior Registry Officer (Corporate and Information Services) as required.
