Indooroopilly State School is seeking a dependable and proactive Schools Officer to support the maintenance, presentation and safety of the school environment.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who can work well with another team member and who takes pride in maintaining school grounds and facilities to a high standard while contributing to a positive learning environment for students and staff.

Who We Are:
Indooroopilly State School is situated in the western suburbs of Brisbane and the majority of our students come from middle to high socio-economic families that are well educated and have high expectations for their children's learning and achievement.
An exciting aspect of our school's character is the large number of students from other countries. Currently students with English as a second language attend our school from 50 different countries.
These students and their families enhance our school environment in many ways and we pride ourselves on the multi-cultural nature of our school. The students at Indooroopilly State School are very capable, well behaved and enthusiastic learners.

Previous experience in working with grounds equipment including a ride on mower.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards, including handling of chemicals and fuels.
- Maintain and monitor of pool and pool facilities in accordance with WHS requirements.
- Prepare and support school activities, events, assemblies and examinations, including furniture movement.
