Hughenden Multipurpose Health Service is an acute facility with 24-hour emergency and general medical care, with six long-stay nursing home-type beds.
Hughenden is situated on the banks of the Flinders, Queensland's longest river, and approximately halfway between Townsville and Mount Isa. Experience the casual small-town vibe, where the smiles are free and everyone has a greeting for newcomers.
About your opportunity
The Operational Service Officer Hughenden is responsible for providing efficient provision of laundry, cleaning, and catering services at Hughenden Multipurpose Health Service.
This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Townsville Hospital and Health Service identify potentially suitable applicants for future Operational Service Officer employment opportunities at Hughenden Multi-purpose Health Service.
If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and you will be contacted further by the Hughenden Multi-purpose Health Service at the time an opportunity arises.
Further participation in other recruitment selection processes (for example written application and/or interview) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required. Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions.

- Salary range: $00,000 to $00,000 p.a. (Classification)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- The possession of a licence to operate (Class C) vehicle would be considered desirable but is not mandatory.
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
