About the role
Provide advanced physiotherapy services within the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Service (GEMS), delivering high-level assessment, treatment, and case management for older patients with complex health needs. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support restorative care, optimise function, and improve patient outcomes across community-based and rehabilitation settings.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver high-level physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management for patients with complex geriatric conditions
- Apply independent clinical judgement and evidence-based practice to manage complex caseloads
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support coordinated and patient-centred care
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to junior staff, students, and allied health assistants
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and research initiatives
