Your new role:

As an Allied Health Assistant within the Allied Health team at Logan Hospital, you will support the team in delivering high-quality patient-centred care across a variety of clinical settings. Working under the direction of Allied Health Professionals, you'll contribute to therapy programs, patient interventions and day-to-day clinical support activities that help patients achieve their rehabilitation and recovery goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver delegated patient interventions under the supervision of Allied health Professionals
  • Assist with individual and group therapy programs
  • Support patient mobility, manual handling and personal care needs
  • Set up, transport and maintain therapy equipment and resources

About the Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
