What your day could look like
As an Administration Officer, you'll play an important role in keeping services flowing and ensuring patients and teams are supported from first contact through to discharge. From coordinating information and responding to enquiries to keeping systems accurate and up to date, you'll be part of a team delivering care that truly connects with the community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Keeping patient and service information accurate, timely and accessible to support safe, efficient care
- Being a welcoming and knowledgeable first point of contact for staff, patients and visitors
- Coordinating administrative processes that help patients move smoothly through their care journey
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to prioritise tasks and adapt in a busy environment
Let's Talk About You
You're someone who brings calm, clarity and care to everything you do. You enjoy being the person who keeps things running behind the scenes, while still making meaningful connections with people every day. Whether it's helping a patient feel at ease or supporting a team through a busy shift, you take pride in making a difference through organisation, accuracy and strong communication. You care about doing things properly and contributing to a positive, respectful workplace.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Strong administrative experience with accurate data entry and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and a genuine focus on customer service
- Ability to prioritise and stay organised in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Solid computer skills across common business systems and applications
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in a healthcare setting or handling medical records and patient systems.
Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to how you work—helping deliver care that matters to the community every day.
In this role, your organisation and care will help create smoother journeys for patients and stronger support for teams—making a real impact where it counts most.
