What your day could look like

As a Senior Dentist, you'll play a vital role in improving oral health outcomes across a regional community. From delivering hands-on clinical care to shaping how services are provided, you'll work with a collaborative team to ensure patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering high-quality dental care while supporting both individual and community oral health outcomes
  • Leading and guiding oral health staff, fostering a culture of learning, accountability and clinical excellence
  • Planning and improving local services to better meet patient needs and strengthen care delivery
  • Supporting complex clinical decisions and collaborating with broader health teams to achieve better outcomes

Let's Talk About You

You're a confident and capable clinician who brings both expertise and empathy to your work. You lead by example, creating trust with patients and colleagues alike, and you take pride in improving access to care in regional communities. You approach challenges with integrity and courage, and you're motivated by making a genuine difference in people's lives.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Dentist with AHPRA and relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Strong experience delivering general dental care, including managing complex cases
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and support a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to clinical quality, safety and continuous improvement

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working in rural or remote settings and/or additional professional development or training in dental practice.

Most importantly, you're someone who values compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—and brings these to life through the care you provide and the teams you support.
