Your new role:
Working under the guidance of treating clinicians, you will provide essential clinical and practical support to mental health consumers with complex needs to promote independent living and recovery.
- Deliver consumer care: Implement individual or group treatment programs, conduct clinical screenings, and assist with daily living skills under therapist supervision.
- Provide community linkages: Support consumers through transport, advocacy, crisis response, and education to help them successfully transition and access vital services.
- Manage clinical data: Complete accurate, timely electronic documentation across specialized healthcare applications to meet critical legislative and Mental Health Act requirements.
About you:
We are looking for a collaborative, culturally sensitive professional who holds the required qualifications and is dedicated to person-centred care and safety.
- Qualified and compliant: Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or Mental Health, a valid Class C driver's licence, and meet all mandatory healthcare vaccination requirements.
- Skilled team collaborator: Excel at working within multi-disciplinary teams, resolving conflicts, and communicating effectively with diverse patients, carers, and external support networks.
- Proactive service supporter: Demonstrate an ability to mentor less experienced staff, manage risk safely, and actively participate in ongoing service and quality improvement activities.
