Your new role:
As a Podiatrist within Princess Alexandra Hospital and Metro South Health, you'll play an important role delivering high-quality podiatry services to patients across a diverse healthcare environment. Working within a collaborative interprofessional team, you'll provide assessment, treatment and patient-centred care while continuing to develop your clinical skills through supervision, learning opportunities and service improvement initiatives.
In this role you will:
- Deliver evidence-based podiatry assessment, treatment and interventions
- Manage a varied caseload across inpatient and healthcare settings
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinated care delivery
- Provide education and support to students and allied health assistants
About you:
You're a compassionate and motivated clinician who enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about delivering quality patient-centred care. You're eager to continue building your clinical skills and value opportunities to contribute to education, innovation and service improvement.
You'll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia
- Ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based podiatry care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical reasoning and time management skills

About us:
The Prosthetic, Orthotic and Podiatry Services Department is a multi-disciplinary clinically based allied health department, providing high level clinical/technical and consultancy prosthetic, orthotic and podiatry services to the specialist Acute and Rehabilitation departments of the Princess Alexandra Hospital Metro South Health Service District. The department is also responsible for the clinical coordination of the Princess Alexandra Hospital Amputee Clinic, High Risk Podiatry Foot Service, and the Chronic Foot Care Clinic.
