About the role
This role sits at the centre of data, performance, and decision-making within The Prince Charles Hospital. As the Senior Reporting & Analytics Officer, you will act as a trusted advisor, turning complex and varied datasets into clear, meaningful insights that inform both day-to-day operations and longer-term planning. You will work across clinical, financial, and workforce domains to uncover trends, highlight risks, and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Develop hospital performance reports and data visualisation dashboards, data repositories and interfaces to communicate hospital performance to an audience including the Central Business Advisory Services team, executive team, and service line Business Advisory Services teams.
- Identify data led opportunities to support services and ensure that health operations deliver a patient centred, value-based quality service.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information using quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Analyse, collect, organise, and interpret statistical information to monitor and inform the business and its leadership teams on hospital performance, trends, risks, compliance, and costs.
- Provide technical support and documentation in relation to the development and implementation of systems and processes that support access to business-critical information.
