About the role
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the Executive Director's office, delivering professional administrative leadership, coordination, and strategic support across a range of complex activities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Oversee and manage all administrative functions of the Office of the Executive Director including monitoring and distribution of correspondence, briefings and other documentation, records management, and maintaining currency of weekly and daily itineraries.
- Direct supervision of the administrative staff reporting to this position to develop their skills and capability including recruitment, training, human resource management.
- Prepare and co-ordinate responses, reports, Briefs, Ministerial requests for information, Parliamentary Briefings, Parliamentary Questions on Notice, general inquiries on behalf of the Executive Director.
- Provide advice and assistance to senior staff both within and external to Queensland Health on matters of protocol relating to the Office of the Executive Director.
