With a strong focus on teamwork and continuity through our Midwifery Group Practice, we build meaningful connections with every family we care for.

About the role:

  • You'll deliver compassionate, person‑centred care while working closely with Registered Nurses and Midwives, staying accountable to NMBA standards and confidently responding to changes in patient conditions to keep mums, bubs and families safe and supported.
  • With sharp clinical thinking and a collaborative mindset, you'll guide unregulated healthcare workers, promote safety, manage risk and maintain a safe, positive ward environment that gives patients and families a real voice.
  • Grow your own skills while sharing knowledge with others, delivering health education to families and contributing to an evidence‑based, curious and always‑improving learning culture.
  • Working closely with the interdisciplinary team and under the guidance of the RN/RM, you'll participate in quality improvement, research activities, and best practice initiatives across CQHHS. You'll help drive positive outcomes through collaboration, evidence-based care, and a commitment to excellence.

About you:

  • You hold current registration with AHPRA and bring evidence‑based clinical skills aligned with NMBA standards.
  • You thrive in a collaborative team environment, adapt easily to change, and build respectful, thoughtful relationships with colleagues, patients and families.
  • You communicate clearly, respectfully and with sound judgement, ensuring information is shared effectively and everyone feels heard and supported.
  • You're committed to delivering safe, patient‑centred care every day, bringing professionalism, accountability and a passion for continuous improvement to everything you do.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $38,348 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $37.92 - $40.25 p.h.
