The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Portfolio Analyst to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Analyse and report on portfolio, program, and project performance
- Prepare timely, cogent performance reports and briefings
- Streamline reporting processes and embed best-practice analytics across the portfolio
- Maintain and enhance portfolio systems, including Project management tools and knowledge libraries
- Assist project managers with performance metrics
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $125,002 - $133,898
About Us
The Digital Health and Innovation (DHI) Division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation opportunities, in alignment with the strategic objectives outlined in the G28 Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Strategic Plan 2024-2028.
The DHI portfolio consists of interconnected functional business units and teams, including Portfolio and Project Delivery, Digital Experience, Technology Operations, Health Information, and Digital Security and Architecture.
DHI is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery improvements to optimise Health Service performance. It also oversees strategic partnerships that help the Health Service implement alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, and driving improvements in performance, and innovation.
The Portfolio and Project Delivery (PPD) teams lead portfolio services and end-to-end digital project delivery for the division, incorporating digital assessment and discovery to delivery and transition to business-as-usual. Project Delivery services include problem and business analysis and project and change management across the delivery lifecycle. The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) supports DHI leadership by guiding and governing all digital investment from ideation to value realisation. The PMO enables informed decision making through portfolio governance, performance oversight, and investment prioritisation. It also provides relevant frameworks, standards, and tools to support effective portfolio, program and project delivery across DHI.
