About the role
This role delivers clinical care and treatment within a multidisciplinary team while providing administrative and educational support to consumers and staff in Metro North Mental Health (MNMH). Key responsibilities include offering clinical leadership to the team and with the Nurse Unit Manager or Team Manager to ensure efficient service operations, attending team reviews and education sessions, and supervising and mentoring registrars, junior medical staff, medical students, and other team professionals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide clinical leadership to the team and with the Nurse Unit Manager / Team Manager ensuring the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of the service.
- Attend team review meetings and education
- Provide supervision/teaching to registrars, junior medical staff, medical students and the other professional staff in team.
- Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Mental Health Act 2016 is
- Maintain clear accurate clinical documentation including statistical and clinical data collection and data entry for CIMHA and
