Charters Towers State High School is seeking an experienced, caring, flexible and proactive TA004 Teacher Aide to support students at our school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and families within a school community. This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

About the Role:
Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by providing high level support for teaching and learning.
The characteristics of a TAOO4 role include: specialised knowledge, limited direction, initiative, high level support for teaching and learning and the application of judgement.
The successful applicant will:
- Support students with access learning programs and classroom routines.
- Assist teachers to implement adjustments, behaviour supports and learning plans.
- Provide support during classes.
- Assist students with organisation, communication, self-regulation and social participation.
- Support safe and positive playground and transition routines.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, leadership and support staff.
- Contribute to calm, inclusive and supportive learning environments.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with students and families.
- Create resources.
- Take part in the playground duty roster.
