About the role
An advanced training opportunity within a high-volume tertiary colorectal service at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, offering extensive exposure to complex and laparoscopic surgery. Fellows gain hands-on experience, contribute to leading research initiatives, and participate in teaching and multidisciplinary care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Develop, plan and oversee components of continuous quality improvement programs, which ensure that clinical aspects of the service are regularly reviewed and that opportunities for improvement are identified and implemented.
- Play an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate training in General Surgery.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient services in General Surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital
- Assist in organising outpatient clinics, waiting lists and operating lists for maximum efficiency.
