About the role

In this role, you will take the lead in driving the successful rollout of a key workforce initiative focused on strengthening clinical supervision across Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) services. Acting as a central coordination point, you will translate strategic objectives into practical actions, ensuring the project is delivered in a structured, timely, and impactful way. Working in partnership with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will support services to embed sustainable clinical supervision practices. This includes designing and delivering education, developing resources, and guiding teams through change processes to enhance capability and consistency across the workforce.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 8, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
  • Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
  • In consultation with the Assistant Nursing Director MHAOD Clinical Supervision Implementation Project undertake project management activities through developing a project plan to progress and manage deliverables in accordance with the project lifecycle.
  • Develop effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve expectations of Clinical Supervision Implementation Project.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to provide policy and strategic advice to the project sponsor, and other stakeholders as required to inform decision making and governance direction to achieve project deliverables with minimal slippage.
