About the role:
- Support financial operations by processing accruals, journals, file transfers, and maintaining data integrity within the Finance and Materials Management System.
- Assist with Annual Financial Statements, compliance activities, and adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and accounting guidelines.
- Collaborate with finance teams, Corporate Office, and Health Service stakeholders to deliver consistent and effective financial services.
- Provide strong customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
- Manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement of procedures, manuals, and business practices.
About you:
- Brings strong knowledge of computerised financial management systems, databases, and spreadsheet applications to support efficient financial operations.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial legislation, policies, procedures, and government accounting standards.
- Have the ability to effectively prioritise workloads, manage tasks, and maintain a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
- Contribute positively as a collaborative team member focused on achieving unit goals and delivering strong outcomes.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $117,603 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $47.19 - $51.98 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
