Your opportunity:

  • To deliver high level psychology assessment and management of patients, with a particular focus on improving the health outcomes and quality of life for those with complex chronic conditions through integrated care planning, assistance with patients psychological factors that impact on their condition and to facilitate chronic condition self-management.
  • To collaborate effectively with government and non-government agencies and other partners to facilitate an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to patient care that prevents unnecessary hospital admission and facilitates early discharge.
  • Contribute to the advancement of psychology and chronic condition services across rural facilities in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service through the provision of clinical leadership for service development, quality improvement and education and research activities.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
