About the role
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide leadership, coordination, and supervision of administrative staff within the Extended Care Service, fostering a skilled, responsive, and patient-centred team.
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the Specialist Outpatient Services Implementation Standard (SOSIS) and support alignment of administrative processes with required standards.
- Provide oversight of daily administrative operations, including referral management, patient registration, scheduling (including telehealth), outcomes processing, billing, receipting, and optimisation of clinic capacity in line with service priorities.
- Coordinate administrative workforce management, including rostering, leave management, and skill mix optimisation to ensure appropriate service coverage.
