We are looking for Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Speech Pathologists to join our Acute Care Team! The Acute Care Team (ACT) is the first point of contact for anyone who may be worried about their mental health or the mental health of someone close to them. This team works with people who are 18 years of age and older.
Conduct triage, mental health assessment, short term treatment and provide recovery support to consumers accessing health services for acute mental health issues at an entry point to the mental health service. The Mental Health Clinician also collaborates with others to provide clinical leadership by offering advice on assessment, treatment options and risk management.

What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Provide clinical practice and expertise in a relevant discipline to conduct triage, clinical assessment and intervention in an acute environment within the current legislative and policy context.
- Ability to work autonomously and provide independent professional judgement and expertise in problem solving and clinical management of a complex caseload, without immediate clinical practice from a more senior clinician.
- Ability to collaborate at a work unit/service area level and/or across professions to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes.
- Ability to apply quality assurance processes including participation in ongoing professional development opportunities and clinical supervision.
- Ability in the application of highly developed interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
