Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Speech Pathologist to deliver high-quality, patient-centred services across a variety of adult clinical settings while developing broad clinical expertise within a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will:
- Provide speech pathology assessment, intervention and management across acute, subacute and outpatient adult caseloads within Bayside Health Service.
- Deliver evidence-based care as part of an interprofessional team, contributing to patient education, discharge planning and optimal health outcomes.
- Support the clinical education of students and allied health assistants while building your leadership and supervision capabilities.
- Participate in quality improvement, service development and research activities that enhance patient care and service delivery.
About you:
We are seeking a collaborative and clinically capable Speech Pathologist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes and continuously developing their professional practice. You have:
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology assessment and management across adult clinical settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and engage patients, families and stakeholders.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice and the continual enhancement of clinical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to contribute to student supervision, service improvement initiatives and a positive, collaborative team culture.

About the Bayside Health Service Speech Pathology Department
The Speech Pathology Department, based at Redland Hospital employs approximately 8 FTE and delivers services across all Bayside Health Service facilities. This position is rotational and may be required to work throughout Bayside Health Service and the position's primary work location may change based on operational requirements. This position may be required to provide speech pathology services on weekends and public holidays at Redland Hospital on a rotational or roster basis.
