Permanent Part-Time Enrolled Nurse opportunity (hours negotiable) with the Internal Medicine Acuity and Support Team (IMAST) at Logan Hospital, Meadowbrook, providing responsive, person-centred care across a range of acute medical inpatient settings.

Your new role:

As an Enrolled Nurse within the Internal Medicine Acuity and Support Team (IMAST), you will play a vital role in supporting patient care delivery across Logan Hospital's medical wards, responding to changing patient acuity, operational demands and patient flow pressures through a flexible and collaborative model of care by:

• Delivering safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Supporting the management of high-acuity patients, admissions, discharges and patient flow activities.
• Assisting with behavioural support and patient safety requirements across medical inpatient wards.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to quality and safety initiatives.
• Adapting to changing clinical priorities and providing responsive support where it is needed most.

About you:

You are a compassionate and adaptable Enrolled Nurse who enjoys working in a dynamic healthcare environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient-centred care with:

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
• Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Sound clinical judgement and the ability to work effectively within your scope of practice.
• A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and evidence-based practice.
• The ability to remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine focus on delivering respectful, compassionate care to patients and their families.
