Your new role:
As an Enrolled Nurse within the Internal Medicine Acuity and Support Team (IMAST), you will play a vital role in supporting patient care delivery across Logan Hospital's medical wards, responding to changing patient acuity, operational demands and patient flow pressures through a flexible and collaborative model of care by:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Supporting the management of high-acuity patients, admissions, discharges and patient flow activities.
- Assisting with behavioural support and patient safety requirements across medical inpatient wards.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to quality and safety initiatives.
- Adapting to changing clinical priorities and providing responsive support where it is needed most.
About you:
You are a compassionate and adaptable Enrolled Nurse who enjoys working in a dynamic healthcare environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient-centred care with:
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Sound clinical judgement and the ability to work effectively within your scope of practice.
- A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and evidence-based practice.
- The ability to remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine focus on delivering respectful, compassionate care to patients and their families.
