About you:

In your new role you will:

  • Improved access and patient experience: enabling people from multicultural backgrounds to better access health services and improve their patient experience.
  • Culturally safe care: improving multicultural patient outcomes by contributing to staff and health service capacity to provide and deliver culturally safe and sensitive care and support CALD patients and their families.
  • System navigation: supporting the multiculturally community and individuals in understanding and utilising available healthcare resources and their rights and responsibilities.
  • Health literacy: empowering the community and individuals with knowledge and skills to access health services.
  • System and service improvement: Facilitating service improvement to CALD patients through cross-cultural support to health professionals.
