The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.

About you:
In your new role you will...
- Consulting and liaising with staff, clients, suppliers and external agencies as required in a confidential manner using conflict resolution skills when required.
- Proactively identify performance issues with suppliers and support relevant stakeholders to resolve those issues.
- Manage a variety of concurrent procurement projects (and other business-related projects) by exercising a high degree of judgement, in order to meet operational and/or business deadlines.
- Review, support and advise on business unit led low to medium value / complexity and contracted high value / complexity procurement processes including the development of Order Forms and providing internal probity advice.
