Your opportunity:
- The Registered Nurse in Medical Ward 1 provides comprehensive, evidence‑based nursing care to adults experiencing acute illness. The role requires clinical assessment, critical thinking, and care coordination to promote safety, maintain functional independence, and prevent complications associated with ageing, frailty, and acute deterioration in the acute setting. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, the RN leads and contributes to care planning, patient and family education, and proactive discharge planning. The RN demonstrates accountability for clinical decision‑making, delegation, supervision, and professional practice in accordance with NMBA standards and Queensland Health values.
Several Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable).

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $127,861 p.a., comprising salary between $87,368 - $112,064 p.a. (f/t) or salary between $44.06 - $56.52 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Several Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., and Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
