Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Base salary range: $57.48 - $61.55 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • On-call and shift allowances (where applicable)
  • Plus great salary packaging options to increase take-home pay

About your opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key coordination and leadership role within a busy perioperative service, supporting the safe and efficient running of 15 operating theatres and associated services.

As the Perioperative Coordinator, you will oversee daily theatre operations, working closely with nursing and medical teams to optimise patient flow, allocate staff in line with ACORN standards, and ensure theatre lists run efficiently. You will play a central role in coordinating resources, managing competing priorities, and supporting timely surgical care, including emergency cases.

You will provide leadership and mentorship to the perioperative team, contribute to achieving service performance targets, and support continuous improvement through data monitoring and escalation of delays or risks. This is a hands on role, with occasional clinical shifts in the operating theatre as required.
