Quilpie State College is seeking an organised, flexible and approachable Teacher Aide who is passionate about supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds and with varying learning needs.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a positive attitude, a willingness to work collaboratively with teachers, and the ability to support students to achieve their learning outcomes. You will play an important role in assisting diverse learners, fostering student engagement, and contributing to our safe,
caring and inclusive school environment. This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

About the Role:
As the Teacher Aide, you will:
- Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
- Receive relevant job specific training.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering classroom and learning activities.
- Assist students with literacy, numeracy and individual learning needs.
- Supervise and support students during classroom, playground, bus and excursion activities.
- Prepare and maintain teaching resources, equipment and student records.
- Provide administrative support and assist with school operations.
- Promote student wellbeing, safety and inclusion through positive and respectful interactions.
