The nature of the service delivery in Disability Services Accommodation Support (DSAS), requires close collaborative relationships with non-government organisations and other government agencies within the community.

Your responsibilities
As a Manager, you will:
- Develop, implement and monitor continuous improvement systems for the provision of quality services that comply with legislative standards.
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of services to respond to the needs of people with an intellectual disability and their families.
- Provide leadership and support to staff through the implementation of positive management practices and policies.
- Adhere to all legislation relevant to the public sector, the department and people with disability.
- Nurture internal and external relationships by building and sustaining positive relationships with staff, stakeholders and professional networks.
- Proactively engage in negotiations for a mutually beneficial outcome. You provide constructive and regular feedback to staff and when required, you deal with underperformance of individual staff promptly.
- Demonstrate your consultation and negotiation skills with stakeholders, staff and colleagues.
- Present information in a clear, concise and articulate manner both verbally and written.
- Recognise and contribute to the DSAS Governance Structure, supporting quality outcomes for participants through the delivery of quality services and continuous improvement.
