What you'll do
- Lead changes required as per the roadmap, at the request of operations manager.
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, with the ITIL framework.
- Ensure all changes, are delivered on schedule, and as planned in regard to impact to clients.
- Ensure compliance and optimal performance of enterprise service levels by managing and performing the dissemination and implementation of policies, processes and standards for technical configuration of the enterprise infrastructure.
- Maintain and manage effective working relationships and engage with third parties that provide technical support for the enterprise infrastructure.
- Lead, manage and mentor a team at strategic and operational levels in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information systems to achieve defined service levels.
- All staff are responsible for identifying, managing and reporting risks relating to their work.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release management. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 5, CHMG Level 5, RELM Level 5)
- Demonstrated expert level skills and experience in managing clinical applications and its integration with business requirements and technical environment in a large and complex service delivery environment. In particular expert skills in following ieMR stream Radiology and Pathology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience in negotiating and managing service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus. (SFIA: SLMO Level 5)
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of technical specialists. (NHS: Leading change through people)
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors and end users (NHS: Collaborative Working)
- Ability to lead complex technical projects, offer technical support and advice to consumers.
