Your new role:
This role delivers minor works, repairs and maintenance across hospital buildings and infrastructure, ensuring carpentry and joinery tasks are completed safely and to high standards. You will provide hands-on technical support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You manage priorities, materials, contractors and compliance, working independently and in a team. A practical role supporting safe, reliable healthcare services.
About you:
You are a skilled, safety-focused tradesperson with strong carpentry and joinery experience, delivering high-quality maintenance and minor works in complex environments across busy healthcare facilities, working independently and as part of a team.
- Qualified Carpenter/Joiner (Cert III in Carpentry, Joinery, Cabinet Making or Shopfitting) with proven building maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, reading technical drawings, and delivering quality workmanship
- Highly organised, able to prioritise workloads, manage materials, and deliver safely, on time and within scope
- Confident communicator, engaging effectively with contractors, clinical staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Committed to WHS, compliance and continuous improvement with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
