An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Advanced Allied Health Assistant to join the Integrated Care Services Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity: 

  • Contribute to patient centred care and improve the patient journey for Post Acute (RISE) clients by providing multidisciplinary Clinical Assistant services as part of the Integrated Care team.
  • Contribute to the care of clients by providing advanced clinical support tasks as delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional.
  • To supervise and coordinate allied health assistants working within Integrated Care Services.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $92,813 p.a., comprising salary between $76,076 - $81,346 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
