Your new role:

As our new Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality secretarial support to the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team to keep our mental health services running smoothly.

• Manage daily reception duties by greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and helping staff, patients, and carers.
• Handle vital patient data by entering admissions, discharges, and transfers into hospital computer systems.
• Organise team schedules by managing diaries, booking rooms, setting up meetings, and taking confidential minutes.

About you:

We are looking for a caring, organised professional who can handle multiple tasks at once and communicate well with people from all walks of life.

• You have excellent frontline reception skills and know how to use office tools like Microsoft Word and Excel.
• You can manage your own time, set your work priorities, and meet fast deadlines when things get busy.
• You are a flexible team player who can solve daily problems and adapt to the changing needs of a large hospital.
