Your new role:

As an Executive Support Officer, you'll provide high-level confidential executive and administrative support to senior Nursing and Midwifery leaders. Managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings and events, preparing executive correspondence and reports, supporting recruitment and payroll processes, and driving efficient business operations, you'll be a key contributor to the success of the Division. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role suited to a highly organised professional who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving and delivering exceptional service.

About you:

You are a proactive and highly organised administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced executive environment, delivering exceptional support with discretion, accuracy and professionalism. You have:

  • Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive or administrative support to senior leaders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and confidential information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports, correspondence and meeting documentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and navigate corporate systems and processes.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery Division, Metro South Health

The Metro South Health Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery Division provides strategic leadership, governance and professional support for nursing and midwifery services across the health service. The Division drives the delivery of the Nursing and Midwifery Plan, ensuring alignment with organisational and statewide priorities, while promoting high-quality, safe and compliant practice. It also leads professional initiatives, responds to emerging healthcare priorities and supports the implementation of key government and workforce commitments.
