The Theodore Multipurpose Health Service is a 10-bed facility providing a broad range of healthcare services to local residents, including emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, residential aged care, and telehealth. The service plays a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the community, delivering quality, person-centred care close to home.

About the role:
- Coordinate and influence care across the hospital, emergency department, outpatients, aged care and telehealth services, working closely with the interdisciplinary team and local providers.
- Manage complex and unpredictable presentations, respond to sudden changes in patient condition, and initiate emergency care when required, drawing on advanced assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Contribute to service planning, operational priorities, care pathways and quality improvement initiatives, with genuine opportunities to influence practice and patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical supervision, education and up-skilling for nursing staff, helping build a confident, capable rural workforce and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Work collaboratively to implement evidence-based improvements, identify gaps between policy and practice, and lead meaningful changes that directly benefit local patients and families.
About you:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, bringing advanced clinical expertise and a commitment to completion of a postgraduate certificate or diploma.
- You bring confident clinical leadership with the ability to coordinate complex care, make sound decisions in dynamic environments, and optimise resources to achieve the best outcomes for patients and the community.
- You are an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, skilled in collaborating with patients, families, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.
- Bring your passion for continuous improvement, with the ability to contribute to research, quality initiatives, evidence-based practice and service enhancements that improve patient outcomes.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $115,432 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
