About the role
It is the purpose of this role to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks to TPCH facilities as directed by Trade Manager and Leading Hands in a safe manner, ensuring all work is performed in a timely, cost effective manner to prescribed quality standards and to meet customer needs.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Ensure that safe work practices and safety procedures are adopted at all times and that protective clothing and equipment provided is worn and used as recommended.
- Assist trades persons in all aspects of their work so as to maximise learning experiences.
- Respond to work requests allocated by Trade Manager and liaise with customers to understand maintenance requirements.
- Work with trade staff in other sections to deliver multi-disciplinary works
- Ensure effective communication with trade staff, customers and patients as required.
